Alfa Romeo, a subsidiary of Fiat SpA (NYSE: FIA) (ISE: IT000197403), is launching a production drop-top version of its 4C coupe.
The vehicle is to be launched either in late 2014 or early 2015. It is to be priced at less than $50,000.
The model is to be equipped with a turbocharged 1.75-litre four-cylinder engine, coupled with a dual-clutch automatic transmission. It accelerates from zero to 60 in less than five seconds.
