Audi AG, a subsidiary of Volkswagen AG (Xetra: VW), is planning to launch a petrol version of the S Q5 super-SUV in 2013.
The vehicle is to be equipped with a supercharged 3.0-litre TFSI V6 engine that delivers 354bhp, coupled with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and a quattro all-wheel drive system. It features a lowered and stiffened sport-tuned suspension, a more responsive steering system and upgraded brakes, lightweight 20-inch wheels, a custom grille and a roof-mounted spoiler.
According to certain sources, the model is to be unveiled at the 2013 Detroit Motor Show.
