Chevrolet, a subsidiary of General Motors Corporation (NYSE:GM), has sold its first C7 Corvette for USD1.05m.
The first new C7 Corvette off the production line sold for 19 times the list price that the car will carry when it goes on general sale later this year, and funds from the sale will go to the College for Creative Studies.
The vehicle, numbered 001, was sold to its new owner at the Scottsdale auctions.
