Coda to set up 30-store dealer network

Coda, an electric vehicle manufacturer, is establishing a 30-store dealer network.

The automaker is taking this step in order to compete with the Nissan Leaf and Mitsubishi i-MiEV.

The company stated that it would start sales of its Coda sedan with 30 dealerships throughout California and other select markets, such as Oregon and Florida. The company commenced sales of its cars in the United States earlier this year, but will be increasing its efforts until the end of 2012 and into 2013.
