General Motors will not produce new Chevrolet Cruze in South Korea

General Motors Corporation (NYSE: GM), a United States-based automaker, is not producing its new Chevrolet Cruze compact in South Korea.

The automaker is moving Korea’s Cruze production to Europe to make better use the firm’s under-performing plants.

According to union spokesman, Choi Jong-hak, GM Korea head, Sergio Rocha, has confirmed that the new model will be produced in Europe.
