Mazda Motor Corporation (TYO: 7261), a Japan-based automaker, is to launch its all-new Mazda6 station wagon at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, scheduled for later this month.

The vehicle is identical to the Mazda6 sedan from the front end to the B-pillar. It shares the same tail lamps and the same distinctive trim on the boot, though the wagon is fitted with a specific bumper, a rear wiper and aluminium roof rails.

The European-spec Mazda6 wagon will be offered with a choice of two SkyActiv four-cylinder engines, a 2.0-litre engine that produces 134bhp and 155lb-ft. of torque, and a 2.5-litre engine that delivers 189bhp and 189lb-ft. of torque.
