United States-based McLaren is planning to launch its F1 successor at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.
The vehicle is to be launched under the P12 nameplate. The production version of the vehicle is to be launched in 2014 with an estimated price of around $1.56m.
The model is to be equipped with a version of the MP4-12C’s twin-turbocharged 3.8-litre V8 engine. It will accelerate from zero to 60 in 2.8 seconds.
