Nissan Leaf Could Have Longer Range

According to reports, Japan-based automaker, Nissan, is to increase the range of its Leaf electric car by 25 percent.

Japanese newspaper, SankieBiz has reported that the range on the 2013 leaf will increase from the present 73 miles to approximately 91 miles from a single charge. The appearance of the car is also reported to be undergoing some changes.

However, there has been no official confirmation of these changes from Nissan, and the company has only revealed that the forthcoming model will benefit from a new heating system and some new options.
