Acura, a subsidiary of Honda Motor Company (NYSE:HMC), has launched its updated NSX concept vehicle at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show.

The vehicle features an enlarged central grille and a more complex, three-dimensional version of Acura’s trademark ‘shield’ motif, an angular front bumper and a new carbon fibre splitter. It is equipped with a mid-mounted VTEC V6 with a trio of electric motors, one integrated into the seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, and two mounted at the front wheels.

The model is to be produced at a new plant in Ohio and is to arrive at United States dealership in 2015.
