BMW AG (Xetra: BMW), a Germany-based automaker, is planning to recall 570,000 units of the 3-Series sedans, wagons, convertibles and coupes in the United States and Canada.

Out of 570,000 cars, 504,000 units will be recalled in the United States and the remaining 65,000 units in Canada. The recalled models are from the 2007 to 2011 model years.

The automaker is recalling the vehicles because of a problem that occurs in the connection between battery cable and the fuse box.
