Fiat SpA (NYSE: FIA) (ISE: IT0001976403), an Italy-based automaker, has launched its all-electric 500e at the 2012 Los Angeles auto show.
The vehicle is equipped with an electric motor that delivers 111bhp and 149lb-ft of torque to the front wheels. The automaker expects the vehicle to earn a 116 MPGe rating.
The model features a model-specific front air dam, side skirts borrowed from the sporty Abarth, and a range of subtle aerodynamics optimising changes that help trim the coefficient of drag from .36 to .31.
