Ford, Daimler and Nissan to develop zero emissions fuel cell engines

United States-based Ford Motor Company (NYSE: F), Germany-based Daimler AG (NYSE: DAI) (FWB: DAI) and Japan-based Nissan Motor Company (NASDAQ: NSANY) (TYO: 7201), are collaborating to develop zero emission fuel cell engines.

The collaboration will enable the companies to decrease the cost associated with developing the new technology.

Fuel Cell Vehicles use an electric motor and a battery and emit only water vapour from their tailpipes.
