Land Rover to replace naturally aspirated V8 engine with supercharged V6 engine

Land Rover, a subsidiary of Tata Motors Limited (NYSE: TTM), is replacing its naturally aspirated V8 engine with a new supercharged V6 engine.

Oval News has reported that the entry-level and HSE Range Rover models will be equipped with a new 3.0-litre supercharged V6 for the 2014 model year. The 3.0 litre V6 engine delivers 340bhp and 332lb-ft of torque.

The vehicle is to arrive at United States dealerships later this year, priced from $83,545.
