Skoda, a subsidiary of Volkswagen AG (Xetra: VW), is to commence the manufacture of its new Rapid Spaceback in late 2013.
The vehicle is aimed at younger buyers and is a development on the new Rapid that goes on sale this month.
The model will feature a sportier suspension set up and interior, and a revised set of trims.
