Subaru, a subsidiary of Fuji Heavy Industries (TYO: 7267), is launching its WRX Concept vehicle at the 2013 New York Motor Show.

The concept vehicle borrows design cues from the VIZIV concept vehicle. It features an aerodynamic front bumper with three air dams and sharp headlights, Zig-zag-shaped LED daytime running lights and a yellow WRX emblem mounted on the mesh grille. BlogAutomobile has reported that the vehicle is equipped with a flat-four engine that uses an electric turbocharger to deliver anywhere between 275bhp and 300bhp.

A production version of the vehicle is to be launched before the end of the year.
