‘Bolt Gold’ GT-R auctioned for $187,100

Nissan Motor Company (NASDAQ: NSANY) (TYO: 7201), a Japan-based automaker, has sold its ‘Bolt Gold’ GT-R at auction for $187,100.

The vehicle was inspired by Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt. The funds received from the sale will benefit the Usain Bolt Foundation.

Nissan’s Chief Operating Officer, Toshiyuki Shiga, said, ‘In doing good with this donation to the Usain Bolt Foundation, Nissan will help children in Jamaica do better as they strive to realize their dreams for the future.’
