Cadillac to produce new coupe

Cadillac, a subsidiary of General Motors Corporation (NYSE: GM), is planning to produce its new coupe based on the ATS.

The automaker is launching the model in an effort to attract more entry-luxury buyers into the fold than would be possible with a higher-priced CTS coupe.

Car and Driver has reported, citing anonymous sources that the automaker will continue to produce the current CTS coupe and wagon variants for one year once the redesigned sedan enters production this autumn.
