Skoda, a subsidiary of Volkswagen AG (Xetra: VW), has revealed details of the third generation Octavia sedan.
The vehicle is to arrive at United States dealerships by the end of 2013. It is to be unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, scheduled for March 2013.
The model will borrow styling cues from the smaller Rapid and will ride on the automaker’s new MQB platform. It will be available with a range of Volkswagen-sourced four-cylinder engines, including a 140bhp 1.4-litre TSI and a new 2.0-litre turbodiesel that produces 150bhp, coupled with a choice of a manual or automatic gearbox, and both front- and rear-wheel drive variants.
